Primary PE and Sport Premium
Schools receive funding to help make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.
We are able to use the premium to develop or add to the PE and sport activities that we would be unable to provide if we did not receive the premium. This also enables the school to make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years. As part of our grant we pay for children to access the Activ8 Scheme encouraging physical activity outside of school time, more information can be found here. Please see below details of how we used our PE and Sport Premium. The PE and Sport Strategy is reviewed during the Summer Term by the Senior Leadership Team. ![]()

As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Department for Education took steps to relax the ring-fencing arrangements for the PE and sport premium in the 2019 to 2020 academic year to allow any unspent grant to be carried forward into the 2020 to 2021 academic year. Please see the document for further details.
