Meet Mrs Dexter- one of our EYFS teachers!

I was born in Carlisle in Cumbria and have lived in Ashby for over 10 years. After teaching in Manchester and Leicester I was lucky enough to become a Hill Topper in 2012. I have taught from Nursery through to Year 1 but my true passion lies with teaching the Reception Year. Hill Top has a very special place in my heart and I truly cannot imagine teaching anywhere else!

I grew up in Leicester and moved closer to Ashby to complete my degree at the University of Derby. This is my second year teaching at Ashby Hill Top and I have had experience in both Key Stage 1 and in reception. I cannot wait to meet your child and see what the year ahead brings!

It's packed with free CBeebies games and videos from your child’s favourite CBeebies characters, and all the activities are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, so your child can have fun with CBeebies and learn at the same time!
