At Hill Top we believe in putting the children at the very heart of everything we do. We aim for our curriculum opportunities to be creative, broad and varied so that all children can achieve their best and are motivated to continue their learning beyond their years at Hill Top.
We strive to build strong and purposeful relationships with families. We operate an “open door” policy and we welcome feedback and comments. We also value the support that families give us so that we can work in partnership for the benefit of the children.
On 1st September 2022, Ashby Hill Top Primary School joined Symphony Learning Trust, a multi academy trust. Hill Top had been a standalone academy since 2012 and Governors have taken the responsibility of choosing the right trust very seriously. Our children will very likely not notice any difference, this is as it should be, however as part of Symphony we now have a wider group of schools from which to draw knowledge and share expertise.
We are excited to join with schools from whom we can learn, sharing effective practice that will enable Ashby Hill Top to further develop and to ultimately improve outcomes for our children. We are excited for the next step of the school’s journey as part of a trust.
Hill Top was most recently inspected by OFSTED in April 2013. We were delighted that the inspectors could see our many strengths and we were graded “Outstanding” in all aspects. The Hill Top team are dedicated to providing the children with first-class care and high-quality learning activities and experiences. The supportive ethos within the school enables pupils of all abilities to thrive as they grow and develop.
Choosing the right start to your child’s education is very important. We hope that the information on our website will be useful to you in making your decision. If you have any further queries, or would like to visit us, please contact the school to make an appointment.
