Teacher Training

Did you know that you can now apply to train to teach for the 2026/7 academic year?

At Ashby Hill Top, we are proud to be a partner school, delivering teacher training through the ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted May 2023) Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training.

Inspiring Leaders Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training Courses are designed to prepare you for a career in teaching, giving you the skills and knowledge to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life, regardless of their background and circumstances.

By choosing the Inspiring Leaders SCITT route to become Teacher, you will be immersed in the classroom from day one – giving you the experience to develop the skills necessary to be a great teacher and make a difference.

Together with your school experience you will receive training from our friendly and supportive teaching specialists, who understand the journey you are on and will help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to be the best teacher you can be.

You can choose from five Full-time or Part-time Primary courses:

Primary 5 -11
Primary 3 – 7
Primary 5 -11 with PE
Primary 5 – 11 with Maths
Primary with SEND
